The Protector Padmantaka presides over the western direction. Padmantaka is red in colour. His three faces are of red, blue and white colors. Padmantaka holds a red lotus, a sword, a jewel and a discus. His two principal hands hold his Prajna in embrace.

His images are very rare here in Nepal. But they can however be found in miniature paintings only.
